The Parish Council is responsible for a number of play areas and public open spaces within the village. These are predominantly 'walk to' play areas, although car parking is provided adjacent to the Sports Field in Cheltenham Road. Users of all areas are asked to be considerate to nearby residents. Please note that some green areas and play equipment (associated with more recent housing developments) remain the responsibility of the housing developers.
The Sports Field in Cheltenham Road offers an enclosed play area, skate park, bike track and outdoor gym equipment
Finlay Way offers a large grassed area with football posts and separate play equipment.
Millham Road comprises a playing field with football posts. The separately enclosed play area is not managed by the Parish Council.
Pecked Lane offers gym equipment, an enclosed play area for younger children and a large grassed area with football posts.
Sunrise Avenue comprises a large grassed area with football posts and outdoor gym equipment. The separately enclosed play area is not managed by the Parish Council.
For the safety of children who play sport we ask that you do not walk your dogs in play areas where there are goalposts and no dogs are allowed anywhere on the Sports Field, Cheltenham Road. There are alternative sites at Cutbridge, Meadow off Kayte Lane and Grange Field where sports are not played. Tewkesbury Borough Council has produced a dog fouling leaflet for dog owners' information. The Parish Council provides dog bags for a small charge, available for sale from the Parish Council Office.
