Bishop's Cleeve Parish Council is responsible for a large sports field on Cheltenham Road which has been developed to include football pitches, an astro facility, kickwall, skate park, and bike track, and outdoor gym equipment.
The football pitches and astro facility are available to hire. A plan of the pitch layout is here and to check availability, please see the Booking Availability Calendar. A booking reservation cannot be confirmed until a fully completed booking form and payment are received.
Other sports field facilities are available free of charge but should be used in a safe manner and for their correct purpose. The Parish Council also requests that members of the public, wishing to use the sports field for walking and jogging, use the perimeter of the field in order to protect the sports pitches.
Dogs are not allowed anywhere on the Parish Council sports field for health and safety reasons. Dog mess is not only unpleasant for anyone using the sportsfield but carries the risk of causing infections, including toxocariasis, which can lead to serious health damage, particularly for children. There are alternative dog-walking areas such as Cutbridge Meadow, off Kayte Lane and Grange Field.
