Following a discussion with the Highways representative for Gloucestershire North, we can confirm that the roadworks on Gotherington Lane will continue until at least September 21st, but could run until the end of the month. This is partly due to water pipes having to be re-laid, which had not been originally anticipated.
We have discussed the residents concerns about the layout of the junction with Vale Road, and these issues are being taken back to the Highways Department. Any updates will be issued on this page as soon as we are made aware of them.
