Gloucestershire County Council is proposing to introduce a 40mph speed limit by reducing the extent of the existing 50mph speed limit along part of the A435. It is also proposed to introduce a shared use footway/cycleway and splitter islands. The scheme is being proposed in association with the new residential development currently under construction to the west of the A435 (Planning Ref - 20/00245/FUL).
