Bishops Cleeve Parish Council are pleased to announce that a contract has been awarded for the new Pump Track at Cheltenham Road Sports Field. We are holding an online meeting for a pump track consultation where you can have your say in its development. It will be held on Wednesday 18th January at 4.30pm. Bishops Cleeve Parish Council are pleased to announce that a contract has been awarded for the new Skate Park at Cheltenham Road Sports Field. We are asking local riders to help shape the initial designs by completing this short survey on what’s important to you in a skatepark. This form will be live until 1st February 2023.

On Sunday 11th of September the Chair of Bishops Cleeve Parish Council read the Parish Proclamation of the accession of His Majesty King Charles III. Many people attended the ceremony. The event was kindly filmed and can be seen on the link below.

It is with great sadness that we have learned the news of the death of our Monarch, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Most of us have not known life without her as our Queen, a Queen who led the Country and the Commonwealth with a lifelong dedication to duty, the like of which we will never see again. On behalf of Bishop’s Cleeve Parish Council and all of our residents we offer our sincere condolences to her family at this very difficult time. A Book of Condolence is available in the Parish Office for residents to sign. As a mark of respect, the Council will be flying the Union Flag at half-mast and over the coming days we will be following the national protocol to mourn Her Majesty. Anybody wishing to lay floral tributes is asked to do so at the flag pole in the Parish Garden, Church Road, Bishop’s Cleeve, but please do not leave them wrapped in paper or plastic and avoid leaving candles. Those placed outside of the designated area will be moved to the official area. All items will be removed the day after the State Funeral for HM Queen ElizabethII. In accordance with protocol all Council meetings scheduled to take place before the 26th September have been postponed. Further details of the revised dates will be available on the Council’s website shortly.
