The Parish Council has objected to planning application 19/0066/TWMAJW Variation to condition 7 and 19 relating to planning consent 17/0066/TWMAJW AT Wingmoor Farm which would allow Grundon to change the use of the MRF to enable the transfer of putrescible (general green bin waste ie food, soiled nappies etc) waste from the Gloucestershire/Tewkesbury council areas to the site before being taken to the incinerator at Javelin Park.

Councillor Wendy Hopkins, Chair of Bishop’s Cleeve Parish Council would like to say on behalf of The Bishop’s Cleeve Parish Council "We are delighted to announce that after a twelve month working partnership with Tewkesbury Borough Council and the Vistry Group (the developer) a planning application has now been submitted for the long awaited Community Building on the Homelands development. This is an important step forward in securing a much needed additional community facility for the residents of Bishop’s Cleeve. Please watch out for, review and comment on the planning application on TBC’s website.
