Councillor Wendy Hopkins, Chair of Bishop’s Cleeve Parish Council would like to say on behalf of The Bishop’s Cleeve Parish Council "We are delighted to announce that after a twelve month working partnership with Tewkesbury Borough Council and the Vistry Group (the developer) a planning application has now been submitted for the long awaited Community Building on the Homelands development. This is an important step forward in securing a much needed additional community facility for the residents of Bishop’s Cleeve. Please watch out for, review and comment on the planning application on TBC’s website.

The Parish Office continues to open on Friday mornings for Foodbank donations between 9.00a.m. and midday. The public is giving generously but there is a dramatic increase in local need for help. A list of items most needed is updated regularly on the Foodbank website.

The Parish Council has objected to planning application 20/00245/FUL for housing on the Nortenham Allotments site. No more housing is required in Bishop's Cleeve whilst there is an urgent need for a primary school.
